Terms of use

Last updated 20 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Brilliantinkk Private Limited, which operates TeachIn ("we") for using TeachIn. By creating an account you accept them. Please also read the privacy policy.

Who can use TeachIn · What you may not do · Your content · School pages and verification · Jobs · Plans for teachers · Promotions for pages · EDGE and GSCI · Our responsibility · Closing your account · Changes, law and disputes

1. Who can use TeachIn

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • One person, one account, in your real name. You are responsible for what happens under your account; keep your password to yourself.
  • School and organisation pages are created by people who work there, using their own accounts. The organisation does not have a separate login.

2. What you may not do

  • Pretend to be someone else, or to speak for a school or organisation you do not represent.
  • Post anything unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexual, or that puts children at risk.
  • Share someone else's personal details without their permission.
  • Post fake vacancies, ask applicants for money, or use TeachIn to collect personal documents under false pretences.
  • Send spam, scrape TeachIn, or interfere with how it works.
We may remove content, limit features or close accounts that break these rules. Every post has a Report button; a person at TeachIn reads every report.

3. Your content

You own what you post. You give us permission to store it and show it on TeachIn to the people it is meant for, for as long as it is on TeachIn. You are responsible for having the right to post it.

4. School pages and verification

A page shows as Verified only after TeachIn has confirmed it is run by the organisation it names, using the methods described on the page's Verify screen. Unverified pages can post events and announcements; vacancies, franchise offers and promotions need a verified page. Verification confirms who runs a page — it is not an endorsement of the organisation, its offers or its employment practices.

5. Jobs

Reading every job is free. Applying needs a Growth or Growth Pro plan. Applying sends your profile to that one school through TeachIn; it does not make you visible to other schools. TeachIn does not employ you, does not guarantee any job, interview or response, and is not part of any employment contract you make with a school. Never pay anyone to be considered for a job — report it.

6. Plans for teachers

  • Growth (₹499) and Growth Pro (₹899) each run for 30 days from when payment is confirmed. They do not renew automatically.
  • A plan starts only once our server has confirmed the payment with Razorpay.
  • If you are charged twice, or charged without the plan starting, we refund the extra charge. Otherwise a plan is not refundable once it has started, because its benefits are available straight away.
  • Prices include any applicable taxes unless the checkout says otherwise.

7. Promotions for pages

  • A verified page can promote a post for a set number of days at a flat daily rate, paid upfront.
  • A promotion can only be shown to an audience of at least the minimum size shown on the promote screen.
  • If you pause a promotion, the days that have not started are refunded to the card that paid. The day in progress counts as used.
  • We report how many teachers a promotion reached, never who. Promoted posts are always labelled Promoted.
  • We may refuse or stop a promotion that breaks these terms; if we do, unused days are refunded.

8. EDGE and GSCI

An EDGE grade is the score of the EDGE assessment, set against the standard of the TeachIn Academy board; EDGE issues a grade record, not a training certificate. A GSCI rating is a structured self-assessment reviewed by TeachIn, not an independent audit.

9. Our responsibility

We work to keep TeachIn available, accurate and safe, but it is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for what other users post or do, for decisions schools make, or for indirect losses. Where we are responsible, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

10. Closing your account

You can close your account at any time by writing to support@teachin.co.in. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, telling you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

11. Changes, law and disputes

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we will tell you before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction. Complaints and grievances: Write to support@teachin.co.in, for the attention of Satyasri Kedarisetty, Grievance Officer, or by post to Nakshatra Complex, Road No.36, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana, India Pincode-500033. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
